I scream, you scream, we all scream for MultiGreens! Young Living’s MultiGreens supplement is one of my most recommended supplements for daily use as it supports the immune, endocrine, circulatory, digestive, nervous, and musculoskeletal systems. Ready to learn more?

MultiGreens is a high-protein, high-energy chlorophyll formula designed to help the body maintain good, balanced energy levels. It is made with spirulina, alfalfa sprouts, barley grass, bee pollen, eleuthero, Pacific kelp, and therapeutic-grade essential oils. What do these ingredients do? Let’s have a look…

Barley grass and spirulina are reported to help maintain healthy blood sugar levels, which keeps that tired-run down feeling away. You also may remember from other OEL education the importance of avoiding sugar highs and lows is important for healthy hormone balance. Barley grass also offers 11 times the amount of calcium than 8 ounces of milk offers—we all need this. Spirulina is 58 times richer in organic iron than raw spinach and 28 times richer than raw beef liver! It contains a spectrum of every natural antioxidant known, including the antioxidant vitamins B-1 and B-6 and the minerals zinc, manganese, and copper. The amino acid methionine and the super antioxidants beta-carotene, vitamin E, and the trace element selenium are also found in spirulina. It is also nature’s richest whole-food source of Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA). Studies have indicated that GLA helps lower blood cholesterol and high blood pressure and eases such conditions such as arthritis, premenstrual pain, eczema, and other skin conditions.

Alfalfa sprouts are high in vitamin C (immune support), vitamin K (helps the body absorb that calcium!), and antioxidants. It contains properties that support healthy blood sugar levels as well as a great support to the nervous system.

Bee pollen is a great source of enzymes, amino acids, and Vitamin C.

Eleuthero has been used for over 2,000 years as an adaptogen, which supports the body’s ability to handle and manage stress. It may increase muscle and bone strength, as well as support the respiratory system. Overall, it is an excellent support for our bodies!

Pacific kelp is a sea plant found in the pacific ocean, rich in iodine and amazing for thyroid and adrenal support. We all need naturally-sourced iodine in our lives because our food is mostly void of it.

MultiGreens contain several amazing essential oils, too, which have their own benefits but also make all of the aforementioned ingredients more powerful. Clinical experience has shown that before putting essential oils in the MultiGreens formula, there was 42% blood absorption in 24 hours. After adding the essential oils to the formula, blood absorption increased to 64% in 30 minutes and 86% in one hour! The conclusion was that the cells were receiving nutrients that they had previously not been able to assimilate!

Lemon essential oil consists of 68 percent d-limonene (give that a google!). It has cleansing and purifying properties.

Rosemary essential oil has been one of the most broadly used plants throughout the ages. It supports a healthy lifestyle regimen and overall well-being. It includes the naturally occurring constituents eucalyptol and alpha-pinene.

Lemongrass essential oil supports a healthy digestive system and contains the naturally occurring constituent geranial.

Melissa or (Lemon Balm) essential oil is extremely supportive of immune system function. It is strengthening and revitalizing, yet soothing and calming, making it good to ease stress. This is one of the best, most ideal essential oils to get into your body daily so I love that it’s in Multigreens!

So who needs Multigreens? We all do, minus Celiacs*! It contains so many vital nutrients and benefits for each of us that are awesome for daily use. Your body will thank you!

*I don’t recommend Multigreens for people with Celiac disease because of the barley grass.
